"In 1999, the first time Ann and I were in residence at the Roswell NM RAIR program, I made a suite of oil/ink wash drawings on plexiglass which could be printed as monotypes on the beautiful old intaglio press they had there. Making one drawing a day for 24 days in the diptych format, a new subject image’s recto became the following day’s verso one until the cycle was closed by the cat waiting."
